Aura Icodin, A_BEST Foreign Language Centre
Passionate about methodology in foreign language teaching, Aura Icodin is a graduate of the Faculty of Letters, University of Bucharest, class of 2003, and is specialized in „Applied English Linguistics” (University of Bucharest – 2004) and „Educational Management” (SNSPA – 2008). Aura is an oral examiner for LCCI – English for Business (London Chamber of Commerce and Industry – International Qualifications from (EDI) and has authored several teaching materials.
Aura has extensive teaching experience and is also proficient in human resources management in the same field. In 2008 Aura founded the A_BEST Foreign Language Center (www.abest.ro), which quickly became one of the largest independent centers for foreign language learning in Romania. A_BEST offers full language services at international standards: language courses – general / business / specialized, open / corporate language; Romanian language courses for expats; LCCI tests; ANC authorized courses; ECL tests; pre-Cambridge testing; translations; interpreting; linguistic audit; tour guiding in international languages and linguistic stays.
Thus, up to this moment, in its 10 years of activity, A_BEST has organized foreign language projects for more than 250 companies (from Bucharest and the rest of the country), 70% of which are from Top 300, in areas such as IT, telecommunication , banking, insurance, pharmaceutics, FMCG, transport and logistics. Aura Icodin has also founded the A_BEST Business Lounge project. A mix of office style and hub, A_BEST Business Lounge offers private offices and conference rooms for junior entrepreneurs and freelancers in Bucharest.
