Despina Tirtea – Founder of “Lady Prosecco”
I’m Despina Tirtea and I always chose to fight and succeed even when everything seemed impossible.
I follow my dreams with much enthusiasm and commitment, being always close to people.
My childhood dream was to be doctor, so in 2000 I graduated the the Faculty of General Medicine from Bucharest, my passion being general surgery. But I realized that this will greatly limit my opportunities to develop in other directions as well.
For about 15 years I have been working in human health, pharmaceuticals market and medical devices, I have invested heavily in my development. I have specialization in management (MBA) since 2007 and I have developed some business units in the above fields.
I have responded to many great challenges of my life, choosing to reinvent myself whenever it was needed and this I have learned and inherited from my parents.
Short time ago, I launched the Lady Prosecco brand in a larger event. This new direction comes as a response to another great attempt that life has given me.
I’ve always carefully chosen my models and learned from the best, so encouraged by a good friend, one of the best oenologists of the time, together with two extraordinary guys and animated by the beauty of Italy, we chose to import and promote one of the world’s most popular beverages – Prosecco, produced in the Veneto area.
We primarily address to luxury locations and events whose customers appreciate a quality product as well as those locations that take the effort to discover and learn with us the value and elegance of this product.
