Hi! I am Mihaela, an accomplished woman, mother of two children, wife of a wonderful husband and an ever going source of energy! In 2005 I opened a hotel on the top of Semenic Mountain, in Crivaia, an amazing place with breathtaking landscapes. At first it was just another place in which we invested our time to make the tourists passing our threshold feel as comfortable as they would be at home. But after a while I felt like I wanted more, to bring in something new, to stand out from everyone else. So we started organizing festive themed nights that over time have become a true work of art from our dedicated stuff and a great attraction for the tourists visiting us.
Due to my passion of working with people, at the age of 37 I decided to start studying psychology at the university. “Small steps make big changes in life” were the words that pushed me to aim as higher as I could. Graduating I enrolled in the John Maxwell Team Programme so I can further develop and make a difference through my achievements, at the same time discovering new things about me with every single day. Gaining the necessary knowledge and using my vivid imagination, I started creating different camps at Cabana Claris which draw in children from each corner of our country. Our programmes are adapted to the participants’ age and welcome children from both school and kindergarten, the activities being chosen depending on their knowledge levels and age. We offer the possibility of getting away from the well known routine of a school environment and adventuring in the beautiful nature surrounding us. We have prepared games and workshops which have the purpose of enriching children’ qualities such as communication, creativity, team work, and independency.
I have learned that success must not take place only on a short amount of time… so do the plans. With each year I am thinking how I can become even more creative to further develop what we have already built and help everyone around me.
